What We Have to Offer You
We offer Agile and Scrum training classes, and
onsite agile/Scrum coaching. We
offer full-immersion, fun classes that teach agile, Scrum, and
incremental, iterative development.
All courses
are taught by NewTech instructors.
We also offer expert-level coaching in Agile
and Scrum. These engagements never last more than
5 or 6 iterations, because we TRANSFER SKILLS TO YOU
Occasionally we offer classes
by friends, who are noted agile/Scrum authorities like Jeff
Sutherland, book author Lyssa Adkins, book author Amr Elssamadisy,
and
many others.
NewTech's Agile and Scrum Story
NewTech started life as a develop training company in 1993. During
the period from 1993 to 2006 we trained over 85,000 developers.
We won the Deliotte and Touche FAST50 business growth award twice, in
2001 and
again in
2002, and developed
some patents. We now provide agile and Scrum training and coaching
100% of the time.
Company founder Dan Mezick noticed Scrum in 2004 and attended
Scrum Master training in 2006 with
Lowell Lindstrom, who was
just then
getting
his
Scrum business
off the ground. Lowell now serves in various leadership roles
at Agile Alliance and Scrum
Alliance.
Since 2006, Dan has gained
experience playing in all the Scrum roles across many
software projects. In 2007 Dan Mezick began
speaking at conferences (like Agile2007 and Scrum Gathering)
on his research and findings about Scrum, agile, and group
learning. In 2008, NewTech began
delivering agile and Scrum training and coaching and Dan started
writing very seriously on Scrum.
